This is a remote position with a leading Pharmaceutical company in the world!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.
(Solutions Architect) at an enterprise level as their previous solutions was built on a Java stack 2005. Their current solution design is complete and at present, beginning solution development and implementation. Where a resource like yourself would be needed is working closely with our client's team to document all current activities, identify future needs and provide recommendation for quantity and functional need of additional placements required to perform against the developed projects plans.
Systems Designs- provide consulting services to assist in designing the system functionality, features, and reliability of business technology.
Code Development- manage efforts to develop new code and, where possible, enhance the modify existing code to deliver the desired functionality. Will deliver these services within the Agile methodology including Plan Sprint, Manage Sprint, Design, Develop, Test, and Close Sprint continuum.
Testing- Will assist in the development, unit testing, and conducting formal/informal integration tests and performance testing for Design and Development work.
System Deployment- create the needed training documentation, process, and structure including a "train the trainer" component as part of the knowledge transfer process within System Deployment and "Close Sprint" Agile process.
Documentation- provide onsite technical writing services for the project team that includes leading efforts to create and maintain pertinent documentation for team.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion
- Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users
- Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
- Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
- 5+ years' of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
